Their products are on the premium side of the market, making them slightly more expensive than most supplements of the market.

Ingredients and how they work

Garcinia Cambogia Extract: Also known as hydroxycitric acid, or HCA, can promote fat-burning and cut down your appetite. It looks to stop an enzyme called citrate lyase from forming, which your body uses to make fat. It can also raises levels of serotonin, helping you to ‘feel good.’

Green Tea Extract: This is one of the most widely used ingredients fat fat loss in the supplement world. It contains healthy detoxifying properties, and it will also raise your metabolism, helping you to burn more calories.

Green Coffee Bean Extract: Studies show that green coffee bean extract could help towards teh prevention of stored glucose within the liver. This, in turn, will force your body to use glucose in the muscles for energy, and then, fat deposits within the body.

CLA: AKA Conjugated Linoleic Acid, is a hugely popular supplement in recent times is CLA for its association with reducing fat levels in morbidly obese people.

However, studies show, it does not lower a person’s weight or BMI. If you’re looking to lose weight, there’s not enough evidence out there to show CLA helps towards fat loss.

Caffeine: A common ingredient in fat burning supplements due to its ability to raise the metabolism, helping you to burn more calories than normal. It will also provide energy while on a low calorie diet, giving you the feeling of alertness.

Acetyl L-Carnatine: Most cells in the body contain natural amounts of carnitine already, but, supplementing with Acetyl L-Carnatine has been used to treat a variety of illnesses. Such as alzeimers, high blood pressure, and depression.

However, there are also many risks associated with this ingredient. For example; Diarrhea, nausea, stomach pain, and vomiting, headaches, trouble sleeping, and psychosis.

Salacia Oblonga: SALACIA has been widely used to control blood sugar levels, but with reported side effects such as gas, belching, pain in the abdomen, nausea, and diarrhoea.

Banaba Leaf Extract: Just like SALACIA, it’s used to control blood sugar levels, but shows no real link to helping towards fat loss.

Forskolin: This ingredient lacks enough studies for it to be classed as a healthy, and safe fat burning ingredient. However, it is claimed to improve fat loss, while at the same time, improves muscle mass – bear in mind that more studies need to be carried out to prove this.

Side effects

There could be side effects associated with taking Fat Burner XL. The ingredients such as Acetyl L-Carnatine, and Salacia Oblonga have been known to cause upset stomach and irritation.

How to use

Take 3 capsules with a meal twice a day on training days, one dose should be 30 minutes prior to exercise. When on a non-training day, it’s suggested to only take one dosage of 3 capsules.
